St John's three parish halls are available for hire on a regular basis or for single occasions to approved organisations or groups and subject to production of a current public liability insurance certificate.
Note that limited car parking is available in the church grounds.
The large hall comfortably seats 200 and has a full-width stage accessible from the floor of the hall, as well as from the side and rear of the stage itself. Current hiring fees are:
- For regular hire - $15 per hour, GST inclusive
- For casual hire - $20 per hour, GST inclusive
Terms on which the hall may be hired for an event, such as a social function, are available upon request.
The upper room is a smaller venue which seats up to 75. With direct access to the stage of the large hall, it can double as a back-stage facility for performers.
The crypt below the church is accessible by stairs from the Upper Room via the church vestibule. The crypt is suitable for gatherings of up to 50 seated, or perhaps for use as a rehearsal room.
Chairs are available for use in the halls.
The use of the kitchen, conveniently located for all three venues, is available at a separate charge.
A cleaning charge applies to all hiring’s.
Setting up of the venue to the hirer's requirements and restoration to its pre-use condition is the responsibility of the hirer.

Spaces in St John's lower car park (entrance from St John's Avenue) may be leased from Monday to Friday, subject to availability. The leasing fee currently is $33.00 per month, GST inclusive.
